PRESS RELEASE: Dagmar strengthens their creative muscles – Pfizer as the latest customer

During the autumn, Dagmar’s Creative unit has been strengthened with new recruitments and significant creative design and production customers. The unit already employs 25 people and offers comprehensive services for brand development, creative planning and production of advertising and content. As the latest customer, the pharmaceutical company Pfizer is concentrating its marketing partnership in Finland on Dagmar.
With the centralized solution, Pfizer is looking for a new kind of efficiency and a more strategic approach to the marketing management of its brand portfolio. The centralization solution is part of Pfizer’s global marketing organization, and Dagmar was chosen as the partner in Finland.
Dagmar represents Publicis Group in Pfizer’s global office partner roster. In the new model, the collaboration between Pfizer’s marketing team and Dagmar will cover brand strategies, research, creative and media design, and material production for Pfizer’s consumer and professional target groups.
“Dagmar is an agency that dares to challenge us. We invest in the development of the customer experience and make a significant change to our marketing process. We need a large, comprehensive partner who plays in cooperation with our international organization to support us in this. Dagmar has quickly earned her place as part of our marketing team,” says Anna Nordberg, Patient & Healthcare Experience Lead at Pfizer.
New creative muscles
In October, Jukka Ihalainen joined Dagmar’s Creative unit as Chief Strategy Officer and Antti Iiskola as Creative Director. Iiskola and Ihalainen moved to Dagmar from similar roles at McCann Nordics. With the ongoing recruitments, the team will grow by even more people during the winter.
“Antti and Jukka have brought more strong expertise in strategic brand development and creative concept design to the company. The way they both approach brands’ challenges fits perfectly with our knowledge-driven and customer-oriented way of working. We are excited to be able to offer our large customers more scalability also as a creative partner,” says Teija Jokinen, Business Director at Dagmar.
Dagmar, which turned 50 this autumn, employs 220 people and is one of Finland’s largest marketing agencies. The company was founded in 1973 when the team that had bought advertising space left the SEK advertising agency. Since its establishment, the company has systematically expanded the range of its services and its position as a versatile marketing partner. The core of what we do is to create data-driven and impactful marketing, where data, technology and experts are combined to find new growth opportunities for customers and build impactful customer experiences. Dagmar’s net sales in the past financial year were EUR 170 million and gross margin was EUR 20.6 million.
