This policy describes the processing of your personal data when you are a contact person for a Dagmar customer, a Dagmar partner or a representative of a partner, or you have subscribed to Dagmar’s newsletter or other publication (e.g. guide or research report) to your email. 

Your data will only be processed to the extent necessary when dealing with Dagmar. The processing of data does not involve profiling or automated decision-making. 

The data is collected from you or in connection with establishing a customer relationship or partnership, for example through an agreement. Data is not collected from external sources such as social media. 

Personal data processed 

Dagmar’s customer contact persons: Name, work email address, work phone number, name of the customer company and position of the contact person in the company. 

Dagmar’s partner or representative of the partner: Name, work email address, work phone number, name of the partner company and position of the contact person in the company. 
 
Subscriber to Dagmar’s newsletter or other publication: Name, email address, company. 

Purposes and legal basis for processing 

Dagmar’s customer’s contact persons: The data is processed for the management of the customer relationship and assignments, as well as in connection with communication related to the customer relationship. The processing is based on Dagmar’s legitimate interest to ensure the continuity of its business, execution of assignments and customer management. 

Dagmar’s partner or partner’s representative: The data is processed for the purpose of managing the partnership and in connection with communication related to the partnership. The processing is based on Dagmar’s legitimate interest to ensure the continuity of its business operations and the execution of assignments. 

Subscriber to Dagmar’s newsletter or other publication: The data is processed for the purpose of delivering the newsletter or subscribed publication. The processing is based on the consent given by the newsletter subscriber. Data from other publications (e.g. guides, research reports or similar) is processed for the purpose of delivering the ordered material and managing related communications. 

Unsubscribe from the newsletter 

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter by clicking the link in the email. By cancelling the letter, you also withdraw your consent to the processing of your data for the delivery of the letter. We will delete your contact details as a result of cancellation. 

Data retention periods 

The data of customer and partner contact persons is stored for as long as it is necessary for managing the customer relationship or partnership. After that, the data will be deleted. 

The e-mail address saved for sending the newsletter will be stored for as long as the subscription is valid. After you cancel your order, we will delete your data. 

Data stored for sending other ordered publications will be stored for a maximum of three (3) months from the subscription to the publication. 

Disclosure of data 

Data will not be disclosed outside the Salomaa group of companies. 

Data transfers outside the EU/EEA 

The data is processed using international cloud services, in connection with which data may be transferred outside the EU/EEA Dagmar ensures that data transfers are covered by safeguards in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation. 

Your rights as a data subject 

The General Data Protection Regulation guarantees data subjects certain rights to their personal data. The scope of the rights is case-specific and depends, among other things, on the purpose of the data processing and the legal basis for the processing. Among other things, you have the following rights: 

Right of access – You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether your data is being processed and, if so, to receive a copy of your data. However, a copy will not be provided if it would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others. 

Right to rectification – You have the right to have inaccurate data rectified and, in some cases, to complete incomplete personal data. 

Right to be forgotten – You can ask us to erase your personal data if there is no longer a legal basis for continuing to process it. 
 
We may need to ask you for certain information in order to verify your identity and ensure that you are entitled to exercise these rights.
